Conversation OS for automotive dealerships

The EV was still in stock. The buyer who loved it never came back from lunch.

Northline Motors is a compact dealership with a workshop on the same plot. The “cart” here is a completed test drive with no booking. Stock number, fuel type and a service due date live on the buyer — not in a salesman’s notebook.

Illustrated walkthrough of the pack — not a named customer case study.

A no-show drive used to vanish. Now the vehicle is still In stock and the buyer is still on my list with a reason.

Lars Holm, Showroom advisor

Saturday 11:35. The compact EV they booked is washed and on the line. The buyer’s number rings out. By afternoon the workshop will remind an owner whose periodic service is due — different object, same inbox.

Still ok for 11:30 in the compact EV? Coming from the airport.

Human

Lars — we held until 12:10. Whenever you land, the same stock number is still In stock. I can move you to 16:00.

That day

  1. 09:00

    The lot board

Every In stock EV with a drive today sits next to the buyer who asked for finance. Lars does not quote a car that is already Booked.

  2. 11:35

    No-show, not a deleted slot

Outcome flips to No-show. The vehicle stays In stock. A journey waits two hours, then SMS — not a WhatsApp template meant for a booking confirm.

  3. 14:00

    Workshop is a different object

A periodic Service booking for an owner who bought last year is confirmed on WhatsApp. Human takeover if they ask for a loaner — the drive journey on another buyer does not collide.

  4. 16:15

    Drive completed, still no booking

Another buyer finishes a drive, feedback “range is fine, waiting on finance”. That is the abandoned analogue: completed Test drive, pipeline not Booked.

Completed test drive, no booking — the lot’s abandoned cart

What they almost lost

They sat in the car. Feedback is on the Test drive. Pipeline never moved to booked. Without the object, that person is “maybe next month” in a notebook.

A 72-hour advisor task if financeNeeded is true (bank timeline). A shorter WhatsApp if they only asked about colour.

Win-back · then scale

Lost customers, then mid-market

No-show drives, and owners whose last service was delivered and never rebooked

Two motions: sales win-back on In stock matches to budget max; aftersales win-back on periodic jobs. Mid-market groups track time-to-book after a completed drive, and workshop utilisation, on the same people.

A single-lot dealer stops washing cars for ghosts. A growing group uses no-show rate and service-due coverage instead of “we sent a blast”.

Small now: One advisor, clipboard drives, workshop on paper.

Next: Assignment by body type, EV vs petrol campaigns, service journeys — still one buyer.

The pack installs Vehicle, Test drive, Service booking and buyer fields. It is not a DMS for accounting, and it does not store full chassis paperwork beyond what you put in fields.
